Ganga aarti is the most magnificent event in Varanasi. You should not miss it. The aarti is performed by a group of priests at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Dashashwamedh Ghat is just 500 Meters from Kashi Temple.

A special type of aarti is performed on sacred occasions, religious festivals and Tuesdays.

The Aarti is performed by a priest. These are dressed up in the same cloth, dhoti and kurta with a tightly bound Kurta and Kurta with a long towel. They make the preparation of Ganga Aarti. The devotees gather around 90 min before the Aarti.
